I stuck with it and cut the cheese (ha!) out of my diet. Much better! And, I found some soy cheese and rice cheese that actually melt. Awesome! We had pasta and swiss cheese on Sunday and I had a headache on Monday. No cheese, and no headaches the rest of the week. I definitely think it's the cheese. So, I guess now I'm an ovo-vegetarian. No more lacto. I don't even eat eggs very often, and when I do, they're egg-beaters.
Good news... G is going to do the cleanse when school is out. He said he'll do 7 days like I did. I'm going to do the last 3 days with him. Those were the hardest to resist food. I think the first few days are just fascinating that you can actually not eat. The last 3 were tough to be around food. Plus, I really like the effects and want to keep them going. I could definitely do 3 days at a time every 3 months or so. I'll never do it for 7 days again, but 3 days is fine.
